Nice city, good ranking, decent department, comparatively cheaper city than California or New York and supportive administrative staff.

Most students are employed in the tech industry. Utah has a growing tech park. In academics many people go for a postdoc research experience. Adobe has their headquarters in Utah. Intel, micron and national labs such as Sandia are regular visitors in the campus and also during the career fair.

Campus is huge and located on top of the city with views all around. There are mountains and hiking trails very close to thr campus. Research facilities are wide with research park having many startups especially in biotech and biosciences. Wifi throughout the campus with a great gym and sporting culture.

Faculty to student ratio in graduate school is 10-15 students per professor in a class. The staff and PIs are very approachable.
Hostel
Accommodation is available on campus and there are apartments available close to the campus too. The bus service is free for students.
