Liked the professors working in my area of interest (algebraic geometry at the time) and talked to the PhD students who were studying there at the time, and got a good vibe from that.
Course Curriculum
Course curriculum is fairly standard as one would expect for a master's program, got research experience under Prof. Y. P. Lee who was very helpful
Exams
Had to submit SOP, LOR, CV, List of math courses taken in undergrad, and diversity essay for some colleges It's best if you figure out what do you want out of the MS as that would help shape your application, I had written what are would I like to work in, why this university, what was my motivation behind pursuing the program, and a little bit about my experiences so far
Placement
about 50% of the students got placed in industry, some of them are post doctoral fellows at good universities
Internship
none, I was working under my prof.
Fees
~$50k for the entire program without TA/RA; with TA/RA it comes down to about $15k
Scholarship
None
Faculty
The ratio is around 10:1, the faculty is very good in their respective fields, many have won national and international awards in advanced math
Campus Life
I stayed off campus, but they have something going on every week; the library is insanely huge and has every book you would ever need, WiFi everywhere on campus
Hostel
avg rent was $400 for sharing, close to $700 for single
