The program offered at Northeastern for Project management is much more professional and updated as compared with other Universities. Northeastern is the only University in the US that offers a master's program in project management. The courses in this program were specific to my requirements and also Ranking/Reputation of this university also made me choose Northeastern over other institutions in Canada.
Course Curriculum :
The course offered in this program are very specific to the professional process, and the courses designed are close to the real-world process. The program also has an optional CO-Op option to apply if you score more than a 3.6 GPA overall in past semesters. The courses are not intense but definitely are not easy either.
Exams :
The University does not require GRE scores, but the chances of admission increase if you have one. The admission committee focuses on career-oriented students and put high weightage on Experience, SOP, and LORs. The General Requirements for Admit to this program are Transcripts, Resume, 2 - 3 Letters of Recommendation, Statement of Purpose, IELTS score card (6.5 Overall no Less than 6 in any section), Passport, SSC and HSC Passing Cert, Final/Provisional Degree Certificate.
Placement :
The university holds a strong connection with the industry in North American companies and still growing. There is a dedicated career advisor to help you with applying for Co-ops and JOBs. The University takes career advisory very seriously and puts maximum effort to maintain its reputation. I have heard that some students work in top tech after graduating. The university does not directly guarantee placement but helps to land an interview with its affiliated partners.
Events :
I have not experienced exploring campus yet. But with the information and photos provided. The campus has a small cafeteria, wifi, 4 classrooms, meeting room.
Scholarship :
No, I haven't applied for the scholarhip.
Faculty :
I am currently studying online due to travel restrictions and I have about 40-45 students but this is not the best example to measure the student-faculty ratio. I know from my course advisor. That faculty-student ratio is about 1:20 - 25
Hostel :
No, I plan to live off-campus, there are a few neighborhoods where most of the students live like Scarborough, north york, and Brampton. (These locations are about 1.5 Hrs away from campus and public transit is available)
