Hannah Review at Liberty University [LU], Lynchburg | Collegedunia

Great experience with Liberty University

H
7.5 /10

The financial package was the new deal for me. Additionally, I debated for the LU debate team and loved the coaching staff and team atmosphere. I had been recommended the school by multiple family friends, pastors and classmates. I paid an application fee but was refunded because I applied before a certain deadline. I graduated with a 4.0 gpa and a 32 SAT. I?m a member of the LU honors program.

Exams :

I loved their Strategic Communication program, and I knew the chair of the department through a friend. There are about 400 people per class, I believe, although they just redid our degree completion plan to include fewer graphic and art classes, which may have shifted the demographics and class size. We didn't have any entrance exams or required scores to get in. Eligibility was open, and anyone who can pass the classes can stay in the program.

Fees :

I'm not an international student so I am not aware of the programs and benefits in place. I do know that liberty university has more than 80 countries represented at our school and by multiple people. The financial aid available seems to be very helpful, and the international student affairs office workers are very skilled and competent at helping international students navigate Liberty.

Faculty :

The faculty is great overall. A very diverse set of experiences and expertise. I have enjoyed my classes and knowledgeable professors for the most part. I have mostly had PhDs and professors, with the occasional TA for a general education class.
