I wanted somewhere close to home due to medical reasons, but something larger than my hometown's university. Having a Christian college was not a must, but was a huge plus for me as well. I wanted a unique experience, and that's what Liberty has given me.
Course Curriculum
I love the courses that I have gotten to take. After the basic introductory college courses, the ones in my major are challenging but very interesting and they allow me to learn very well. They have taught me very much about the field that I am entering.
Exams
I took both the SAT and the ACT prior to coming to college. I took one AP English Language and Composition Exam prior to college as well, passing with a 4.
Fees
There is tuition, room & board, a meal plan, a health fee, an activity fee, certain fees that apply to certain programs or courses, and textbook charges.
Examination Structure
There are midterms for most courses as well as final exams. Rarely, there will be courses that do not contain a final exam. Exam blocks are 2-hour blocks for most classes if they are not held during the last day of the class which it meets (either 50 minutes M/W/F or 1 hour and 15 minutes (T/Th).
Faculty
The faculty at Liberty University are all extremely supportive and caring of their students. I have had many professors that are willing to go above and beyond to help me succeed academically and personally.
