It was close to home and included the degree I needed. I had beforehand experience with Dual Enrollment. My mother is also part of the alumni. Due to it being in close proximity to my home address, my parents needn't worry about me falling ill and being far away, be it from physical illness or homesickness. The curriculum is also brilliant.

Course Curriculum

9

The curriculum is top of the line despite Miami Dade College being a community college.

Faculty

9

The Faculty-Student ratio has many more students. The methodology is also rather independent in the sense that the students are self-guided. The faculty is qualified.

Placement

9

The placements and job opportunities are not the best in the state; however, they are fantastic for a community college. In the sense of the education field, there is very good placing there as Florida schools need more and more teachers.

Accommodation

6

There is no boarding for Miami Dade College. I work and go to school from home. As I go to a satellite campus (there are many around Miami), there is only the school and no areas for student living. It is best this way as it is not the biggest college in the first place.

Exams

My SAT is 1310. My total credits amount to around fourteen; my reasoning is also due to qualifying for the amazing Bright Futures scholarship in which one hundred % of in-state tuition is paid for, and as MDC is in the state of Florida, my tuition was completely covered. ACT was not required for entry.

Events

10

Miami Dade College is rather open minded and celebrates LGBT Pride month.

Fees

Internationally there are not many opportunities as it is a community college, but there are many for in state applicants and students. Bright Futures covers either 100% or 75% based on merit. This one necessitates having 100 community hours and a certain growing SAT score by the year. Also, a high GPA is required.

Examination Structure

The Exam Structure has just the right amount of difficulty needed for assessing knowledge on the material.
