Close to home, a great reputation, hard to get into, really good public policy program, in-state tuition, my friends all went there, unc basketball!!!!, it?s absolutely beautiful, good academics and social stuff.
Course Curriculum
I love the public policy department! It teaches basically how to go between the super technical research stuff and where policy gets passed. There are also a ton of super cool opportunities, such as the senior capstone, where you get to consult for a client.
Exams
SAT, ACT, multiple exams for all of my classes and majors, also have taken the LSAT to attend law school after I graduate.
Events
Well with over 18,000 undergraduates and 10,000 graduate students as well as the thousands of faculty and staff, there are a TON of things celebrated at unc pretty much every day. One big one is Holi.
Fees
Paid through the university, you pay for housing, food, tuition, and other fees include gym, grounds, sports stuff.
Examination Structure
It's different for each class but generally, there is a midterm and final exam which accounts for a large portion of the grade. The exam schedule is set by the university and then we go in and take them.
Faculty
The public policy professors are the best professors at the entire school. Not only do they want their students to be good students and good in class, but they also want their students to be good people in general.
