Financial aid was better compared to other schools I applied to. The location was also great. They also seemed to have a great English program. I also knew people from high school that was attending.
Course Curriculum
It's good. Too many requirements when concerning older literature. The newer classes were fantastic, especially the British literature courses. The creative writing program is also well known and highly regarded.
Exams
ACT, AP, SAT. I took AP exams in biology, English, psychology, US history, and the US government. I did well on each exam.
Fees
DU was very expensive but also granted good financial aid. You had to apply every year for it, from FAFSA.
Examination Structure
There were mostly a few exams, but a lot of papers. DU mostly focused on research papers with a few tests sprinkled in between that weren't graded heavily. This may be major specific. The science classes seemed to have a lot of tests.
Faculty
I am still friends with some of my college professors. One currently is helping me apply for grad school. I had a lot of female professors which was great.
