The business program is one of the best among the Cal States and the opportunity to go to school in the Bay. I am offered many opportunities and scholarships with financial aid that pays for my tuition and forming expenses.

Course Curriculum

8

The business requirements are a lot and time-consuming with students who need to take more classes or time to receive their degrees. Such requirements involve classes and minimum grade requirements.

Exams

SAT, ACT, ELM is the specific exams I took that were recommended to see what classes were best for me to take.

Placement

There are posts everywhere, also a website platform called Handshake that offers both jobs and internship offerings. Also, recruiters come from campus and to the college of business for those interested in going to find a career in business.

Internship

Yes, there is a center to find those opportunities. In finding specifically to my major, across from my college I can speak to faculty who can directly offer me the internships that do relate to my field. There's also the Academic Advising and Career Development Center that offer internships from counselors with also resume help.

Events

9

There are many diverse events for students of color, the college of business offers informational events for career pathways or after graduation decisions. There are also many resume workshops. Those who dorm also get to have events guided to them to experience a community on campus such as movie nights, and paint nights.

Fees

There are in and out of state tuition fees, that include for the resources on campus. Those who commute also spend on transportation, such as parking fees and public transit expenses. Students who live on campus have to pay for the room expenses and as well as meal plans.

Scholarship

There are scholarship opportunities from the school. There is a website guided to the students interested with a required application of a personal statement. After that, you are shown Scholarships specifically related to your major, or also your ethnicity or social status.

Examination Structure

There are exams where they are necessary to graduate. Such as the writing skills requirement where it is necessary to see if you are capable to meet the English requirements. Other than that there are no other exams to graduate other than those specifically related to your major.

Faculty

7

Some faculty aware great help in not only your major but also career goals as well. Although there are some faculty that do not wish to get to know you and do lead to the class not being as great or interesting.

Hostel

7

I lived on campus due to living far from home. It does take away from time spent commuting to campus, and the expenses with that. There are off-campus options such as apartments close by and those who live at home and just drive or take public transportation to campus.
