Kris Review at University Of Rhode Island [URI], Kingston | Collegedunia

Overall I felt my experiences were pretty positive. I think I did receive a good education at this college.

7.0 /10

The college is close to home, which allowed me to stay close to family and easily work while still living at home. The state colleges are typically more affordable, and this university had a program with the community college in my state to earn a discounted tuition.

Course Curriculum :

I think the course curriculum at my school was good. They were the only in-state college that allowed me to earn a Bachelor of Science degree instead of just an Arts degree. I loved learning more about the science aspect of psychology.

Exams :

I took the SAT before going to university. My score was 1510. I did not have to take any other exams to begin this college.

Internship :

No, my college did not have an internship experience.

Fees :

The fees were reasonable. It was about $6,000 for each semester with my tuition reduction plan since I went to a community college in-state first. So since my GPA was good there I got a discount on my tuition.

Scholarship :

Yes, I did earn some scholarships while I was at this college. The process was that I had to apply for the scholarships. They were listed on the college website. So I had to find them on my own. Once I applied, I was accepted for a couple of small scholarships.

Hostel :

I did not live on campus. I lived at home with family. Since I went to an in-state college I was able to commute to classes so this enabled me to save some additional money each year. I did have to pay to park on campus though.
