Students may specialize in a number of materials technology areas including ceramics, metals, polymers, or electronic and photonic materials. Students also can design a special program of elective study, such as biomaterials or green engineering, among others.
Graduates are employed in aerospace, automotive, chemical and material, communications, electronics, petroleum and energy, and basic materials-producing industries. Students may qualify for graduate study in engineering, the sciences, medicine, law, and business.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
- Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
- Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
