Northeastern University's newly renovated Master of Science in Software Engineering Systems takes a sociotechnical, engineering approach to software. This engineering foundation is designed to enable students to embrace real-world complexity as an opportunity for innovation.
The program offers a multitude of courses in Big Data engineering and analytics in addition to supplementary courses that are required to deliver the data-analytics results in a meaningful way to management. It covers data management, advanced data management, business intelligence, column databases, data science, and Big Data engineering.
Requirements for applying at NU College of Engineering include-
- Completed online application form
- 75 USD application fee
- Two letters of recommendation
- Transcripts from all institutions attended
- GRE is not required for applicants starting spring 2021
- Statement of purpose
- Resumé
- TOEFL, IELTS scores or Duolingo for international applicants
