Students are in the midst of digital revolution. They are discovering new media and ways to communicate seemingly every day. As a new media and digital design major, they will join the next generation of digital leaders in a new interdisciplinary program at Fordham.
The program combines the forces of multiple departments: communication and media studies, visual arts, English, computer and information science, and business.
Students will develop innovative technical capabilities. Students will examine the new modes of information-gathering, collaboration, democratic participation, and self-expression. They will gain a deep social, historical, and ethical understanding of new media.
Students will learn more than new media and digital design here. they will also study philosophy, theology, history, mathematics, languages, and the performing arts through Fordham’s common core curriculum, the centerpiece of the liberal arts education.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students required to maintain at least a 3.0 overall GPA.
Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
