Bachelor of Arts [B.A] [Theatre, Arts Administration] From Slippery Rock University

Hands-on experience is often the differentiator when it comes to finding a job. At SRU, you'll have plenty of opportunities to put theory into practice by participating in the management and support services for the Theatre Department and the Kaleidoscope Arts Festival. The SRU Arts Administration track has also been enhanced by relationships with the Midwestern Arts and Humanities Foundation, the Greater Pittsburgh Arts Council, Unseam'd Shakespeare Company, and numerous other local and regional arts organizations and artists. Additionally, students majoring in Arts Administration complete internships, enabling them to network with professionals and expand their skills. Finally, since 2016, SRU has toured six productions to the world's largest international theatre festival, the Festival Fringe in Edinburgh, Scotland. Our arts administrators return from this program having been responsible for marketing, front-of-house and box office operations for a professional production on an international stage.
