All nursing students are provided with advisors who are ready to assist them throughout the nursing program. In addition, they receive guidance from a National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) coach who will help them prepare for their licensing test.
SONHS also instills excellence and understanding through hands-on usage of on-campus laboratories. The health assessment lab mimics a doctor's office for students to make full health assessments and physicals. The simulation labs allow students to examine patients throughout a typical lifespan, including a state-of-the-art birthing center. Additionally, SONHS has medical examination rooms where students are able to practice what they learn in the classroom.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredited agency such as ECE or WES
- Official transcripts must contain course by course evaluation showing that the applicant has achieved a high school diploma
- Submit a letter of recommendation attesting to the student’s ability to succeed in college and proficiency in college
- Submitting official SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in IBT; 213 in CBT; 550 in PBT
