Students in the BS Cybersecurity program will learn the fundamentals of information security, security infrastructure design and implementation, computer forensics, risk assessment, and the impact of security requirements on a business operation.
Students design, implement, integrate, and manage various security infrastructure components through hands-on activities in a state-of-the-art Security Laboratory. The lab includes multi-vendor firewalls, Virtual Private Networks, intrusion detection and prevention systems, routers, switches, security scanners, and event correlation systems.
This degree program prepares students for the fast-growing cybersecurity field and careers in various environments such as corporations, government agencies and consulting. Common career areas include Computer Forensics, Incident Response, Network Security Administration, Risk Assessment, and Web Development.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Eligibility:

Students must have an official secondary school transcript to get admission.
Students are required to maintain at least a 2.0 overall GPA.

Language Requirments:

Students whose official language is not English are required to submit IELTS or TOEFL scores.
Students are required to submit an SAT or ACT score to be considered for admission.

International students who currently or will hold a degree from an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, do not need to submit a TOEFL or IELTS score report.
