The Plant Sciences undergraduate major is a joint contribution of the disciplines of Agronomy, Entomology, Horticulture and Plant Microbiology and Pathology. From the manipulation of genes to increasing crop productivity to improving the quality of life by enhancing the landscape, plant science students are engaged in the science and art of working with plants. Educational opportunities in plant science range from basic (genetics, biotechnology and physiology) to applied (crop production and protection, landscape design and turfgrass).

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Complete 13 units of coursework in four units of Mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of languages and one unit of Fine Arts
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a grade of 4.0 or a GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
- Submit academic transcripts of all the previous education
- SAT/ACT scores are required for scholarship considerations
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 with no score below 52 in PBT; minimum 79 with no section score below 17 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with no section score below 6.0
