Applicants must have completed at least 42 hours of college credit before applying, and students who are admitted must have completed 60 hours of college credit before beginning coursework as Communication Science and Disorders majors. A minimum GPA of 2.75 on a four-point scale and a composite score of 22 or above on the ACT are required for acceptance into the BHS program. Meeting the minimum criteria and declaring a major of pre-Communication Science and Disorders do not guarantee acceptance into the program.

Academic Requirements:
- Complete 13 units of coursework in four units of Mathematics, three units of science, three units of social studies, two units of languages and one unit of Fine Arts
- Minimum GPA of 2.5 on a grade of 4.0 or a GPA of 3.5 on a scale of 5.0
- Submit academic transcripts of all the previous education
- SAT/ACT scores are required for scholarship considerations
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 550 with no score below 52 in PBT; minimum 79 with no section score below 17 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5 with no section score below 6.0
