Purpose

The purpose of The Ohio State University College of Optometry Graduate Program in Vision Science is to:

  • develop successful, independent vision scientists,
  • train future educators, and
  • generate future leaders.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

  • A bachelor degree in closely related field from an accredited university 
  • Submit all the official transcripts to the graduate school
  • A minimum of 3.0 GPA is required on a scale of 4.0 in undergraduate and graduate courses
  • GRE score is required
  • A statement of Intent
  • Current Resume
  • Three letters of recommendation

English Proficiency Requirements:

TOEFL: 79 minimum in IBT; 550 in PBT

IELTS: 7.0
