The program focuses on the post-graduate educational needs of professionals already fully employed in the health care industry, as well as those aspiring to careers in the field.
Combining its strengths in graduate business education and its close relationships with the South Florida health care community, the program teaches practical administrative skills as well as broad strategic and theoretical perspectives to students who wish to expand their knowledge of management and administration as applied to the health care industry.
The curriculum offers a blend of case studies, lectures and group discussions.
Program Highlights
- There is no prerequisite coursework; however, students must demonstrate proficiency in math through completion of a non-credit module during the first semester of their program. There are no waivers for previous coursework or life experience.
- Each program is "lock-step." The students in each program progress together through a sequential pattern of courses. Participants must take all courses in the program, attend class and study group meetings to remain in good academic standing, as well as maintain the 3.0 cumulative grade point average required for degree completion.
- The curriculum offers a blend of case studies, lectures and group discussions.
- At orientation, group exercises serve as "ice breakers" for the cohort. However, study groups are normally assigned at the instructors' discretion.
- Students are able to continue their regular employment.
- Streamlined registration, tutoring, and administrative support are provided.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed graduation from a recognised institution
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have a 4 year bachelor degree from a recognised institution
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program
GMAT/GRE scores are not required for this course
