Choose from among three areas of concentration -- Flight, Maintenance Management, or Safety Science -- to combine specific technical coursework that will complement your aircraft maintenance technician certifications.

The Bachelor of Science degree in Aviation Maintenance Science is comprised of 126 credit hours. Students will earn the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Airframe and Power Plant certificates (A&P mechanic licenses). The elected area of concentration may require additional coursework. Further, certifications/licenses previously earned may qualify for applied credit. Embry-Riddle is an FAA-certified Aviation Maintenance Technician School.

The Aviation Maintenance Science bachelor?s degree is made up of general education courses, technical courses, and labs that lead to FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) mechanic?s certification, and a group of courses known as an area of concentration (AOC).
