Full-time students have completed the program in twelve or sixteen months; others have paced their studies over two, three, or even four years depending on their own needs.

The candidate must complete at least 30 semester hours of graduate work approved by the program advisor/graduate advisory committee with a grade point average of at least a B (3.0 on a 4-point scale) covering all courses elected. These 30 credit hours must include five required core courses and five elective courses.
