As a Computer Science student at UNA, you?ll study the algorithmic processes that create, describe and transform information. You will learn how to design, develop, and evaluate software systems that aid in solving problems in engineering, mathematics, business, economics, ecology, education and other areas. A degree in Computer Science opens doors to a variety of positions, such as software engineer, programmer, game developer, computer and information security analyst, network analyst, web and mobile programming, and database administrator.
Students majoring in CS who also have an interest in pursuing an engineering degree may choose to participate in the UNA?Dual Degree Engineering Program (DDEP).
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of your high school diploma and transcripts attested by a government institution
- Submit a statement of purpose that should address details about your background, academic interest, career aspiration and volunteering experience
- Students do not require to submit SAT and ACT scores
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 61 in iBT; 173 in CBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 5.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 90
- PTE: minimum score of 46
- TOEIC: minimum score of 600
