Our curriculum begins with 15 months of instruction in physiology, pharmacology, anatomy, clinical medicine, clinical integration and clinical skills on campus. The remaining 12 months are dedicated to 4-week supervised clinical rotations at healthcare sites off campus. Core clinical rotations are in primary-care medicine, internal medicine, pediatrics, behavioral health, women?s health, general surgery and emergency medicine. Three selective rotations will be arranged based upon the request of the student and needs of the program.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicants must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must have a course by course evaluation from a NACES accredited agency
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4
- A minimum overall grade point average of 3.0 is required for all biology, chemistry, and physics (BCP) courses completed
- Complete the following prerequisite courses with a grade of C (2.0) or better by the end of the fall semester prior to matriculation. (“C-“grades are not acceptable). Courses must be intended for science majors or health professions preparation. Survey courses are not acceptable. The MPAS program does not allow for exceptions or substitution of prerequisite courses.

- Biology, including lab: 4 semester hours
- General Chemistry I & II, including labs: 8 semester hours
- Organic Chemistry or Biochemistry: 3 semester hours
- Medical Terminology: 3 semester hours
- Submit GRE scores
- Minimum patient care of 250 hours is required
- Three professional letters of recommendation

- One letter must be from a Physician Assistant (PA)
- One letter must be from a non-PA clinician (MD, DO, or NP)
- One letter from a Professor or any individual who has worked with the applicant in a professional or educational environment. The reference should have worked with the applicant for a minimum of six months.
- Submit a one page personal statement about your career and personal goals connected with graduate studies
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; 213 in CBT; 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
