The Ph.D. Program in Accounting prepares students to conduct original research on accounting issues. Accounting research addresses substantive accounting issues with theories and methods drawn from disciplines such as economics, finance, psychology, mathematics, and statistics.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
- The applicant must submit letters of recommendation from three faculty members or others familiar with the academic potential of the applicant.
- The minimum level of academic achievement is a Grade Point Average (GPA) of 3.0 en a 4.0 scale r the last two years of undergraduate work before graduation, though successful applicants have average scores significantly higher.
