English Secondary Education

The Bachelor of Arts in English Secondary Education draws upon the same artistic and research strengths as the English B.A., with an added emphasis on how to implement teaching and learning strategies in secondary English classroom environments and meet the literacy challenges of tomorrow. Students in the English Secondary Education B.A. learn the research and writing skills and strategies that will enable them to analyze and report on the language and texts of others, as well as to create original, meaningful texts of their own and graduate prepared for highly competitive teaching positions in public or private high schools and middle schools.
