The Physics Bachelor of Science degree is a four year program consisting of 124 credit hours and is awarded by Purdue University. Physics majors learn to be problems solvers, and to think rigorously and analytically. 

Physics majors often cross over into other fields with great success. Pre-meds who major in physics score higher on the MCAT (on average) than pre-meds who major in other fields. Physicists become patent attorneys, doctors, and financiers.
