The Master of Science in Nursing-Primary Care Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program trains you to enter clinical practice as a primary care family nurse practitioner and prepares you to:
- Practice in an advanced nursing role in a variety of settings
- Practice independently and collaboratively to improve the health of individuals and their families, especially for under-served and vulnerable populations
- Provide competent, comprehensive, culturally appropriate care to individuals and their families across the life span
- Educate paraprofessionals, professionals, clients, families and communities regarding health care issues of individuals and their families
- Participate in clinical research that incorporates evidence-based care and extends knowledge in advanced nursing practice relevant to individuals and their families
- Incorporate Christian values and ethical decision-making into clinical practice
- Assume leadership roles in influencing health policies that promote high quality, cost-effective care for individuals and their families

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Applicants must have an unencumbered license with eligibility for license in Indiana
- Submit a personal statement about your background, research interests, long time academic and professional goals
- Submit a current resume
- Submit one letter of recommendation from individual with minimum BSN who has served as your supervisor
- Applicant must have completed 8 documented shadowing hours with an FNP,NNP or AGNP
- Submit English language proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 61 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 5.5
