This award-winning master’s program is designed for professionals working in the biotechnology, biomedical, and medical laboratory industries. It is a part-time, evening, 3-year program. Students receive a master of science degree in Medical Laboratory Science. Specializations are available in Biotechnology, Medical Laboratory Sciences, Public Health Laboratory Science, Adult Education, and Management. The biotechnology specialization places an emphasis on molecular biology, bioprocessing, regulatory affairs, biomaterials and medical devices, and stem cell biotechnology.

M.S IN MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENCE (CYTOPATHOLOGY SPECIALIZATION)

This program trains entry level medical laboratory practitioners in cytotechnology. Cytotechnologists perform a variety of lab tests, including molecular biology methods, to diagnose cancers and other diseases. The program is accredited and prepares students to sit for the national certification examination and for licensure by state health departments.
