- The Master of Science degree with a major in management science is designed as preparation for a career in the application of quantitative techniques for the solution of complex problems.
- The program’s flexibility also makes it appropriate as preparation for doctoral study in management science.
- Management science coursework will expose students to both the theoretical development of quantitative techniques and their application to managerial decision-making. In addition to the development of sufficient mathematical maturity for the creative use of quantitative skills, the program requires concentrated study in a supporting area.
- Supporting areas are available in other departments of the College of Business Administration, as well as in computer science, public administration, geography, health, and other areas, subject to approval by the Management Science Committee.

Academic Eligibility:
- Students must a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university to get admission to this program.
- Students require a minimum GPA of 3 on a 4.0 scale for the program.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Students need to submit minimum GRE exam scores for a better chance of admission.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
