The program is designed primarily for adult professionals with a minimum of three years of full time professional experience with or without undergraduate business degrees. The curriculum integrates management theory with real-world applications. Core courses develop an understanding of the role of professional managers and their responsibilities within an organization and our society. The MBA curriculum has been designed to offer the type of graduate business education that employees want. The program is designed around the following competencies: Change Management, Problem Solving and Decision Making Skills, Cross Functional Management Perspective, Teamwork, Technology.
Learning Goals
Upon the completion of the program, the student will be able to:?
- apply accounting standards, rules and regulations;
- utilize critical thinking in solving accounting and business problems;
- effectively communicate in diverse cultural and organizational settings;
- research accounting and business problems and generate new knowledge; and
- demonstrate ethical and professional judgment.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous education showing a bachelors degree
- Minimum GPA of 3.0 is preferred in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework
- Students with lower GPA need to submit scores of GMAT/GRE
- Submit a personal statement summarizing your professional goals
- Submit your current resume
- Submit two letters of recommendation
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 80 in iBT; minimum 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 105
Scores Required
Avg. GMAT score: 500
- A GMAT or GRE is not required for all qualified applicants to all programs, but it is recommended that applicants to the MBA program who have a GPA between 2.3-2.5 in their last 60 units/two years of study submit GMAT test results as part of their application materials.
- Applicants to the MS in Leadership Management program with a GPA of less than 2.5 in their last 60 units/two years of study should submit a GRE score. If you need more information about GMAT or GRE requirements, please contact your Admission Counselor.
