To develop your abilities on your instrument, you will study weekly with a music professor, who will help you enhance your craft. You?ll also perform in a wide array of ensembles ? jazz, wind, orchestral, percussion, brass and string ? giving you an extensive and well-rounded music education. Campus ensembles, local groups and our annual performances of operas, chamber music and Broadway musicals provide you with a variety of opportunities to gain additional music performance experience. In addition to regular performances, you will take courses in orchestration and conducting ? both important skills that you?ll need to excel in the music industry.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredition agency like WES, SpanTran or ECE
- Submit an essay
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Applicants need to appear in an audition for admissions consideration
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 76 in iBT; 207 in CBT; 540-543 in PBT
