Manhattan College was established in 1853 in Riverdale, the neighborhood of the Bronx. Manhattan College Residence

Manhattan College Application Process

The application process for admission at Manhattan College is outlined below:

  • Application Deadline: No set deadline however students are expected to submit applications by March 1 for priority consideration.
  • Student Class profile:
    • Total enrollment – 3894 students; UG student – 3316; Graduate – 578
    • International students from 60 countries
    • Standardized test scores of SAT/ ACT are required for the admission decision. Average SAT: 1100-1240; Average ACT: 22-26
    • High school/ college GPA - UG: 3.2 to 3.8 i.e. equivalent to 87-93; PG: 3.0 on 4.0.
  • Supporting Documents to be submitted with the admission application for evaluation include: 
    • UG applicants - official transcripts from previously attended institutions translated in English, proof of English language proficiency through IELTS or TOEFL scores, copy of passport and bank statement and affidavit or financial guarantee.
    • PG applicants – official transcripts, statement of interest describing goals and objectives of joining the college, letters of recommendation (2) one of which must be academically related to the applicant, copies of passport, financial statement. Students applying for an MBA program must submit GMAT scores. (Minimum GMAT requirement – 500)
