Southeastern?s mathematics?major with a concentration in actuarial science is designed for students who enjoy both analyzing?Actuaries are considered the backbone of financial security. They?are key players on management teams for insurance companies, financial planners, and many corporations that deal with ?risk management.? The goal of the mathematics department is to train students in preparation to use their critical thinking skills as an actuary scientist.and thinking abstractly about problems.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by an accredition agency like WES, SpanTran or ECE
- Submit an essay
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 76 in iBT; 207 in CBT; 540-543 in PBT
