Students learn about the interconnections between international politics, economics, and culture, developing the necessary social science analytic skills to understand, explain, and discuss the complexities of these links. Simulation techniques and computer software enable students to explore connections between geography and contemporary political, social and economic issues, as do education abroad experiences in the form of standard study abroad programs, partnership exchange programs, short-term faculty-led programs, or service learning programs.
