Why Study Integrated Science - Biology at Madonna University

These courses are intended to develop a broad appreciation of the links between disciplines and their impact on society. The focus of these courses will be on student-initiated learning to reinforce skills in information gathering, analysis and presentation in written, oral, and visual forms
- Prepare students to enter professions of value to our community, through the study of applied science within a social context, or to undertake advanced study
The program offers flexibility in course selection to independently motivate students who have cross-disciplinary interests. IS offers appropriate preparation for many professional degree programs (e.g., in Health Sciences, Education, Law, Journalism, programs) as well as for graduate programs. Through Integrated Science, our students develop a large suite of transferable skills, including research methods, laboratory and field techniques, teamwork, critical thinking, problem solving, numerical and statistical techniques, planning, organization, and written and oral communication skills. These skills are especially important for careers in scientific research and the medical professions. ?We at Madonna University provide our Integrated Science students with an all-encompassing science program to be able to meet the demands of increasing modern science teaching at the secondary and/or high school levels. The research and laboratories endeavors allow the students to be able to create laboratory exercises that would be suitable in their future schools for their students using laboratory and lecture knowledge they gain here at Madonna University.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other educational institution attended
- Final transcripts need to be submitted after graduation with graduation date posted
- Typical applicants getting admitted to the university have minimum GPA of 2.8
- Submitting SAT/ACT scores is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 70
- IELTS: minimum 6
- MELAB: minimum 76
