Saint Francis University is one of the oldest Catholic Franciscan colleges in USA offering more than 50 undergraduate, graduate, and online programs through its three schools known as STEM. The admission process in the university is quite selective and admissions are mostly done on a rolling basis. However, two courses have their own deadline requirements for January 15 and November 15.

Apart from the supporting documents, Saint Francis University requires international students whose mother tongue is not English to provide proof of English Language Proficiency. US Visa for International Students

International applicants can apply for a student visa to study in the USA right after they have received the letter of acceptance. Along with the letter, the institute will attach an I-20 (DS 2019)form which needs to be filled out and all supporting documents need to be attached. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, the US government has allowed for the forms to be sent by mail and payment of the SEVIS fee to be done online. Documents required:

  • A photocopy of the passport information page.
  • Evidence of funds required for the first-year tuition, accommodation, and other fees.
  • Affidavit of support form filled by the student’s financial sponsor.

After the submission of the I-20(DS 2019) form and payment of fee, students can approach the US embassy to apply for an F-1(J-1) visa which will require these documents. They will proceed with an interview and it may take about 2 weeks to get your visa approved.
