- The Departments of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, Materials Science, Mechanical Engineering, and Entrepreneurship participate in the Manufacturing Engineering Program.
- Course work in the program will train students in traditional manufacturing engineering topics, such as materials selection and process design. Additional courses will include modern technologies such as 3D printing and system-level concepts of integrated product and process design, applications of modern information technology to design and manufacturing, hands-on laboratories using advanced manufacturing equipment and commercial software, and innovation and entrepreneurship.
- The Graduate and Professional Programs office provides services for prospective and currently enrolled Master’s, Doctoral, and non-degree earning continuing education students at the Viterbi School of Engineering and online.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must complete a Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in any engineering or engineering-related disciplines.
- The average cumulative high school GPA of students admitted is 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Student Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students require a 4-year Bachelor's degree or Master’s degree (for 3-year Bachelor's degree holder) earned at an institution recognized by the University Grants Commission (UGC).
Note: A three-year bachelor’s degree in any subject is not considered sufficient for graduate study at the University of Southern California.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
