LMU's Entrepreneurship major teaches students how to plan, organize, and manage a small business. Students focus on the practical skills, ethical issues, and management theory necessary to succeed in a diverse and global economy. Entrepreneurship majors at LMU are taught to discern the feasibility of new business ideas, undertake risk analysis, and develop business plans.
LMU has been teaching entrepreneurship with an emphasis on ethics and social responsibility since 1972. In fact, LMU was one of the first schools in the U.S. to offer an entrepreneurship program. The Entrepreneurship major at LMU provides students with the fundamental theories, critical thinking skills, and real-world awareness necessary to develop their entrepreneurial capacities. The focus of the major is to equip students with an entrepreneurial mindset, a state-of-the-art skill set, and practical experiences to support their launch into careers as startup entrepreneurs, social entrepreneurs, and corporate entrepreneurs.

Academic Eligibility:

International students are not required to submit the SAT or ACT to complete their application to LMU. Strong candidates for admission who do not provide these scores will provide alternate assessments of their academic abilities such as International Baccalaureate (IB) courses, Advanced Placement (AP) courses, A levels, or rigorous national examinations.
Non-native English speakers must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) given by the Educational Testing Service and arrange for scores to be sent to the Office of Admission. As an alternative to taking the TOEFL, non-native English speakers may also take the International English Language Testing System (IELTS).
Submit your transcripts in English from all secondary schools/high schools attended. Full transcripts from each individual school year must be provided.
