The students at Drew University learn to do history itself: to locate evidence; develop original arguments in response to the views of others; and use evidence to support one?s own interpretation of the past. It is our great hope that our students continue to draw on modes of historical reasoning and research whatever they may do in life after graduation.
After Drew
Some of our alumni continue to research, write and teach history for a lifetime. Others work for museums. We also launch those who go on to be attorneys and physicians, or work in key roles in government or nonprofits.
We stay connected with our alums. We help them get where they want to go. It?s one of the benefits from having worked so closely with them as undergrads; we really know whether they are politically minded, teaching-centric or whether they are into the long ago and far away.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of high school and other education completed
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent
- Submit a letter of evaluation from a counselor and a teacher
- Submit a personal statement
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 80
- IELTS: minimum score of 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 105
