The Graphic Design Major is a rigorous, pre-professional program stressing concept development and visual communication skills necessary to prepare content and imagery for print, interactive media and the Web. Students gain a comprehensive understanding of the discipline and build a portfolio of work to begin a career in the graphic design profession. The program is based in the Department of Art and Design.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all secondary school attended. Transcripts must be in English
- Submit Essay or personal statement. Students can also submit resume or list of extra curricular activities
- Submit one letter of recommendation showing your candidature for the field of study
- Submitting SAT/ACT score is optional
English Language Proficiency Requirements:
- TOEFL iBT: minimum 70 required
- IELTS: minimum 6.0
- Duolingo: minimum 95
- Pearson: minimum 48
- SAT: 480 minimum in EBRW section
- ACT: 22 minimum in English section
