An additional portfolio is not required. For these students, the art graduate faculty will cast two separate votes based on the strength of the show to award the M.A. Degree and admission into the M.F.A. program. Such students must submit an?Application for MFA Candidacy Exhibition?signed by the major professor before their exhibition. The 36 credit hours of the M.A. will apply toward 60 credit hours required by the M.F.A. degree.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Application Requirements:
- Submit official transcripts of all previous undergraduate and graduate coursework
- Must have a minimum GPA of 2.5 or equivalent
- Submit three letters of recommendation out of which one should be from a professional/professor in the field of Arts
- Submit two pages of autobiographical sketch or career goals
- Submit English language proficiency scores
- Student must submit portfolio of art work in digital forms
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 79 in iBT; minimum 550 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum score of 100
