Today's nurses must be knowledgeable and analytical, caring and creative. They are key members and often the leaders of teams of health care professionals. The College of Nursing provides the comprehensive education, both theoretical and practical, needed in this challenging and rewarding profession.
In your first year, students experience their first nursing course and build a strong core of knowledge in select science courses.
Before students go into the field, our modern nursing lab provides student with the tools and equipment they will need to:
- assess patients
- interact with colleagues
- utilize complex care management software
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Students requires :-
- SAT/ACT score
- letter of recommendation from a teacher or school counselor.
- a personal essay (up to 650 words) that demonstrates qualities of leadership, community service, work experiences and/or other significant interests.
International students, specifically those whose first language is not English, are required to submit the official results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or the International English Language Testing System (IELTS), unless the student has attended a school for at least one year in which the language of instruction is English.
