This program was designed to meet the academic and professional goals of each student. You’ll work closely with renowned faculty, conduct research and gain hands-on teaching experience in college English classrooms.
Students in this program have the opportunity to choose from three concentrations:
- Creative Writing
- Literature
- Rhetoric & Composition
No matter which path you choose, you’ll benefit from the exceptional sense of community here at Creighton. Geared toward an academic tradition of excellence, class sizes are small and student-to-faculty ratio is low, giving you the attention you deserve.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Applicants must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 or equivalent on a scale of 4.0
- Submit official transcripts of all your previous educational institution attended
- Official transcripts must be evaluated by a NACES accredited agency, SpanTran is recommended
- Submit letters of recommendation from persons who can speak to your perfromance in academic or professional setting
- Submit a resume or CV
- Submit a personal statement
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum 90 in iBT
- IELTS: minimum 6.5
- Duolingo: minimum 110
