- Medicinal Chemistry is an interdisciplinary field, involving chemistry and important aspects of biological and pharmaceutical sciences. Medicinal Chemistry focuses on the discovery, design, and invention of biologically active compounds, the study of their metabolism, the interpretation of their modes of action at the molecular level, and the understanding of structure-activity relationships.
- Our outstanding division offers research opportunities and graduate education on the discovery and development of new drugs as well as the exploitation of new biological targets for the treatment of cancer, malaria, CNS disorders, and infectious diseases. We blend conventional disciplines to conduct research in asymmetric organic synthesis, computational drug design, automated high-throughput synthesis and analysis, biological evaluation, and assay development.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:

Although a BS degree in Medicinal Chemistry. However, it is strongly recommended that all applicants have completed or can show proficiency in the following undergraduate subjects:
- GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
Indian Students Eligibility:
- Applicants must have passed graduation from a recognized institution with a GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program
