The master’s degree in computer information systems is a 33-hour program that enhances the skills for a career in a network, database or systems administration, programming, project management, software engineering, and other related fields.
The CIS master’s degree sharpens student's skills in networks, systems design, digital law, and project management.
Students choose one or two concentrations from nine areas: software, web, and computer security; game technology; computing management; emerging topics in CIS; intelligent systems, databases and data mining; mobile computing; software engineering; web technologies and systems; and theoretical computer science.
As graduate students, they apply their knowledge to advanced research, design and development projects with potential professional implications.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

Academic Requirements:

A bachelor's degree considered to be the equivalent of a US bachelor's degree. Some three-year bachelor's degrees are not considered equivalent to a US bachelor's degree.
In those circumstances, applicants are required to complete a two-year master's equivalent degree in order to be eligible to apply.
A GPA evaluation of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale in the last 60 hours of undergraduate coursework for unconditional admission.
A GPA of at least 2.5 may be considered for conditional admission.
