- MS in Software Engineering at Drexel University is a 1.5 years program.
- It is an on-campus program offered on both a full-time and a part-time basis.
- MS in Software Engineering (MSSE) degree program is designed to prepare students to become professional software engineers across a wide variety of industries.
- The MSSE degree program provides students with a blend of theory and practice to provide a solid understanding of the fundamentals of software systems as well as a working knowledge of the many languages, methods, and systems used in the field.
- Students are required to successfully complete 45 credits for the program.
- The program includes a hands-on capstone experience (Software Studio) in which graduate students work for two to three quarters on an intensive team-based software project.
- Students have the option to pursue a dual degree program combining the MSSE with any other CCI graduate degree program.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Eligibility:
- Students must hold a bachelor's degree or equivalent degree in a related subject from a recognized university.
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher is required.
Indian Eligibility:
Indian students are eligible to apply if they meet one of the following eligibility criteria:
- Students must complete a 4-year undergraduate degree with first class in a relevant field from a recognized institution
- Or, students completed a master's degree with first-class in a relevant field from a recognized institution.
Along with the minimum eligibility requirements, international students hailing from non-English speaking countries need to prove English proficiency through IELTS/TOEFL/any equivalent test to get admission to this program.
