The MSc Analytics is a single integrated course of study taught exclusively to NC state’s students and designed to produce well-rounded analytics professionals.
The curriculum is a carefully calibrated and continually updated mix of applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, and business disciplines.
The program is a cohort-based learning experience structured entirely around teamwork, with personalized coaching to improve team performance.
In this program, students learn by tackling genuine analytics problems with data provided by industry and government sponsors and using leading tools such as SAS.
It has a practical orientation. It does not dwell on theory and is not intended to be a prelude to doctoral study.
The time-to-completion of this program is 10 months.

Eligibility & Entry Requirement

The minimum requirements for admission to the graduate degree program are:

A bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university.
An overall GPA of at least 3.66 out of 4.00.
Statement of Purpose – a statement about the academic career, research, and career goals.
Three strong recommendations from persons able to comment on the applicant’s qualification for graduate study.
Submission of GRE/GMAT score is not required for this program.
