The combination of new technology, market pressures, and environmental threats has also underscored the fact that good healthcare requires an understanding of the whole person, as well as good science. With these issues in mind, the Healthcare Studies program provides students with an interdisciplinary understanding of –and analytical framework for examining—the business, legal, ethical, interpersonal, and sociopolitical aspects of healthcare delivery, finance and organization.
