We?re proud that our program? AACSB Accounting Accreditationis one of only two programs in Louisiana to hold a secondary accreditation from AACSB International. MAcc courses integrate a broad range of problem-solving and management skills, and emphasize understanding in functional business core to strengthen comprehension of both accounting and business. The program also further develops our students? ability to critically appraise accounting practices. Through the MAcc, students complete the 30 hours needed to sit for the CPA exam in an efficient manner with personalized attention.
We have numerous graduates who are Partners with ?Big Four? and regional accounting firms, others who have succeeded in businesses of their own, and many who are presidents, chief executive officers, vice presidents, chief financial officers or in other key executive positions in large corporations. We have also placed graduates in government careers such as the FBI, IRS and other state and national agencies.
Eligibility & Entry Requirement
Academic Requirements:
- Applicant must have completed a bachelors degree from an accredited university
- Submit official transcripts of all previous educational institution attended
- Official transcripts should contain English translation if not originally in English
- Applicants should have a minimum GPA of 2.75 or equivalent
- Submit GMAT score of minimum 450
- Applicant should have composite Index (GPA x 200 + GMAT) greater than or equal to 1,100
- Submit two letters of recommendation from individuals who can testify your potential to complete the course
- Submit English Language Proficiency test scores
English Language Requirements:
- TOEFL: minimum score of 100 in iBT; minimum score of 600 in PBT
- IELTS: minimum score of 8.0
- Duolingo: minimum score of 130
